Boyne puts construction on hold; Main Lodge will now remain available for booking.
In this article, we mentioned that the Boyne Highlands Main Lodge would be under construction this coming 2019 conference. As a result, most of our conference attendees were encouraged to secure accommodations at Boyne's Heather Highlands Inn. But now, Boyne has put Main Lodge construction on hold, meaning the Main Lodge will remain open during our 2019 conference.
Here’s everything you need to know about this change:
No action needed if you’re happy with your booking: Anyone who reserved at the Heather Highlands Inn can either stay there (where they are receiving a comparable rate) or move back to the Main Lodge. Our sense is that most attendees will remain at the Heather Highlands Inn.
Conference room location: The conference room will remain in Heather Highlands Inn, where most of our group is booked.
Dining location: Dinner / meals will continue to take place in the Dining Room of the Main Lodge, regardless of where one chooses to stay.
Main Lodge hallway access: There is now a complete hallway access connecting the rooms of the Main Lodge to the lobby of the Main Lodge.
Main Lodge rates: If you choose to move back to the Main Lodge, you will receive the same rates as last year*.
