What is the typical Tri-State Dental-Medical Conference format?

The conference begins on the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. The educational sessions are held early morning and late afternoon throughout the week. Two speakers are featured each morning and afternoon. The conference concludes after the morning session on Friday of the same week.


Is the Tri-State Dental-Medical Conference accredited?

The Ohio State University Medical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor medical education for physicians. The Ohio State University Medical Center certifies this educational activity for a maximum of 10.5 hours in category 1 of the Physician’s Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spends in the educational activity.

In addition, the program has been approved by the Dental Boards of Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana for Dental CME.


What is the conference course description?

The Tri-State Dental-Medical Conference is a conference that provides the opportunity for medical and dental practitioners to hear practical tips on a variety of clinical topics.


What is the conference educational needs assessment?

New therapies and approaches are continuously introduced. This conference will address the need of practitioners to be aware of advances in care, and to be introduced to topics outside of their specialties.

How do I register for the conference?

We accept credit cards. In fact, we prefer them. All attendees are asked to pre-register online prior to attending the conference by registering and making payment via secure PayPal payment on our registration page.


Is the conference family-friendly?

Yes! There are numerous accommodations for families with children, including daycare, SnowSports Academy, special activities, and much more!


What’s included in the package?

Our group receives a special rate. The package is typically updated from year to year and can be viewed on the reservations form found here.


How do I make arrangements with the SnowSports Academy?

May I pay my conference registration with a credit card?

Yes, we prefer you pay your conference registration via online registration with credit card. However, we will also accept check or cash on-site at Boyne Highlands.


May I rent SnowSports equipment?

Ski and snowboard equipment is available for rent on-site.


What other activities are available on-property?

In addition to skiing/riding on 54 runs, enjoy cross country skiing, tubing, bonfires, ice skating, snowshoeing, swimming, ziplining, horseback riding and more.


What activities are available off-property?

Shopping in nearby Harbor Springs and Petoskey, bowling, Kilwins Chocolate Factory tours, movies at Petoskey Cinema, Snowmobile rental and trails are all available off-property.
